Discovered by TV icon Nick Cannon while dancing in the streets of Hollywood, Venk's animated personality and unassuming comedic style, helped to launch him into a flourishing career as an inventive multi-faceted writer / director / actor / producer. Under his Khrisp Entertainment banner, Venk produced and starred in the hit feature film FOUR SAMOSAS, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in the US Narrative Competition and has been released by IFC Films for North American in 27 different cities in North America. His breakthrough performance in the film has been called “Charming” by the New York Times, while ScreenRant called the film “2022’s Best Comedy.

Venk has also been featured on shows like Veep, The Comedy Get Down, and Wild N' Out. MASALA JONES, his fiction comedy podcast, was featured in The AV Club and included on The Bello Collective’s list of 100 Outstanding Podcasts of the Year. It is currently being developed for television by Tulsea Entertainment. Most recently, Venk co-starred with Gina Rodriguez on QCODE's scripted podcast Last Known Position, which was acquired for a television adaptation by Amazon. Venk is dedicated to telling stories from underrepresented perspectives that are heartfelt and unapologetic.
