About

Venk Potula’s work moves between independent feature films and the business architecture that makes them possible.

He produced, and starred in Four Samosas, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was distributed theatrically by IFC Films. His directorial debut feature is currently in post-production. His third feature as producer, Namaslay, releases August 2026. All three films are produced under his Khrisp Entertainment banner.

Venk won the AFM Pitch Competition, holds a dual MBA/MFA from Chapman University, and teaches at UCLA Extension.

Before stepping behind the camera, Venk was discovered by Nick Cannon — an origin story that launched a career built on resourcefulness, creative ambition, and an instinct for making things happen with whatever is available.
